New Woodruff High School Construction Information

On August 11, 2022, voters approved to issue bonds not exceeding $100,000,000 for the construction of a new Woodruff High School.
District staff, architects, and construction management teams have been meeting weekly on design and development. An estimated timeline of events are as follows:
- November 2022 - Bonds will be issued
- Early to mid-Spring of 2023 - site work begins
- Fall of 2023 - construction begins
- Start of 2026 Academic Year - Inaugural opening
Brick Paver Dedication Project
Spartanburg District Four is offering engraved brick pavers that will be installed at the site of the new Woodruff High School. The pavers will be incorporated into the walkway to the flagpole that is in front of the building. Anyone in our community is invited to purchase a lasting tribute!
The cost is $100 per paver. Any proceeds above the cost of materials and installation will be donated to a scholarship fund at Woodruff High School.
