Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year in Spartanburg County School District Four!

For the last five years, we have looked forward to the opening of the new Woodruff High School as well as the restructuring of our current buildings.  Along this journey, we have consistently focused on how to honor the traditions of the past while embracing the future to meet the needs of our students and community.  Significant growth and development have brought new families, industry, and retail to our area and will continue to do so.  Even still, the rich legacy of loyalty and tradition remains as a steady heartbeat amid the changes. 

We are proud of our long-standing tradition of academic, athletic, and artistic excellence, and we are thankful for a community that values hard work, discipline, and self-sacrifice.  Safe and orderly schools have been and will remain as the foundation that allows excellent teaching and learning to flourish.  These principles will continue to lead and guide us as we continue to look toward the future.

We want to welcome all our new families and community members and share tremendous gratitude for those who continue to invest in and support our schools.  I look forward to seeing you at W.L. Varner Stadium on Friday nights as well as other athletic and school events throughout the year.
