Residency Verification Requirements for Attendance in
Spartanburg County District Four Schools
for the 2026-2027 Academic Year
All new students who plan to enroll in Spartanburg County School District Four along with returning students who will be in 2nd, 4th, 6th, or 9th grade during the 2026-2027 academic year are required to verify residency. Residency for the required students must be completed before the student(s) can be officially enrolled or complete registration.
Please read below for instructions on how to submit the required information as requirements have changed.
A Driver’s License or State Issued ID will be required of the parent/guardian for each student and ONE of the following documents:
- Current Property Tax Receipt
- Current Mortgage Statement
- Current Rental Agreement
(When submitting your information, please make sure to list the legal name of each child attending, their date of birth, and their grade level for the 2026-2027 academic year.)
To submit residency verification information, please visit the Spartanburg District Four Administrative Office at 118 McEdco Road, Woodruff, SC between the hours of 8:00am – 3:30pm on Monday-Thursday or 8:00am – 11:30am on Friday.
