Gifted Art Students have a Watercolor Workshop on Saturday, October 29th, 2005
with Watercolorist Loretta Thomas from Bristol, Tennessee.
Students participating were: Jenny Radke, Heather Hatfield, Saundrau Saxton, Marc Rameriz, Annie Brasington, Amethyst Kipling, and Sara Hix.
Mrs. Thomas shows a "dry on wet" technique demonstration.
Mrs. Thomas shows the difference between a flat watercolor
painting and the glaze technique.
Students practice the different watercolor techniques:
flat wash, graded, glaze, dry in wet, wet in wet
Students receive personal help from Mrs. Thomas.
Jenny creates leaves for her watercolor project using the glaze technique.
