Congratulations to the following students who had work selected by Mr. McConnell to represent Woodruff Middle School in the annual African American Young Artist Renaissance sponsored by the Spartanburg Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority:  Saundrau Saxton, Raymond Saxton, Toye Durrah, and Ronald Norman each had one work selected for the show, and Nick Hunter had three works selected.  Each of these students  received a certificate of recognition for having their work chosen. 

Special congratulations to Nick Hunter who won First Place in the show and  receiveed a ribbon, a certificate, and a first prize cash award. 

The show consisted of artwork from Mary H. Wright Elementary School, Carver Junior High School, Woodruff Middle School, Woodruff High School, and Dorman High School.
