JUNIOR BETA CLUB

PURPOSE, AIMS, AND ACTIVITIES

The aims and purposes of the Junior Beta Club are many.  We do our best to reach our goals by working hard each day.  We serve our school and our organization in a variety of ways by preserving honesty, justice, service, cooperation, responsibility, industriousness, humility, and charity.

Quoting from our mission statement, “The purpose of the National Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement, and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.”

The vision statement tells how The National Beta Club is a student-centered organization.  It continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.

Among the activities of the WMS Junior Beta Club are serving as teacher aides, tutoring other students, selling school supplies, maintaining the lower courtyard and planters outside the school, delivering messages from the office at the end of the day, and making tapes of classroom novels.
