CUB CLUB CUB
CLUB is a
“pep” club that began at WMS seven years ago.
It has been a great success and we want to continue it again this year.
This club is designed to get our students involved with school spirit
and to increase school pride. CUB
CLUB will meet on designated home games during football/volleyball
and basketball seasons. CUB CLUB
students will come to the cafeteria directly after school to play games, make
signs, practice cheers and chants, etc. The
students will also be allowed to purchase small snacks during the game.
At game time, CUB CLUB students will sit
together as a pep club. The cost
to join CUB CLUB as a new member is $10.
This fee pays for a CUB CLUB T-shirt and entrance to each Woodruff
Middle School home ballgame during the 2006-2007 year. Returning
members with a T-shirt is $7. CUB
CLUB students must wear their T-shirts to each meeting to get into ballgames.
* Students do not have to attend all scheduled games to be a member of
CUB CLUB. * A CUB
CLUB student would have this schedule on a Cub Club game day: 1)
Attend school!
You need to attend school to participate in Cub Club that day. 2)
At 3:05 pm,
report to the cafeteria to make signs, learn cheers, etc. 3)
Go with teacher
to the game and sit together in a designated area just for CUB CLUB
members. 4)
Buy snacks at
designated times. 5)
Have a great
time! 6)
Be picked up by
a parent no later than 6:20 pm for FOOTBALL, 7:15 pm for
VOLLEYBALL, and 7:00 pm for BASKETBALL in the teacher parking lot. During CUB
CLUB activities, students will be supervised by teachers and/or
administrators. Students must
wear their red Cub Club shirt at ALL TIMES.
Students will be expected to behave appropriately during this time.
Any behavior problems that occur during CUB CLUB time will result in
dismissal from the club, a forfeit of the fees paid this year, and other
possible consequences. Cub Club Shirts should not be defaced. (Shirts may have signatures on the back; if anything is
written besides signatures, a student will have to purchase a new T-shirt.)
If a shirt needs replacing or is lost, the cost is $8 for a new one
after a student has joined for the current year.

Basketball Monday, Oct. 1 for Volleyball
Thursday, Jan. 17th for Basketball Wednesday, Oct. 10 for 7th Football
Monday, Jan. 28th
for Basketball Thursday, Oct. 25 for 8th Football *We
will meet only on the above 9 days.
A Cub Club member may get into all other Volleyball, Football, and
Basketball games free if you wear your red tee-shirt to the game, but there
will be no Cub Club meetings on the other game days nor supervision for
students on campus after 3:15. You
must leave school and come back to the games if we are not having a Cub Club
