Bruins Celebrate Pi Day March
14, 2008 |
 |
On March 14th, the Blazing Bruins celebrated Pi
Day. Students invited parents to their celebrations, which included a
short powerpoint presentation on the history of pi, a rap song about
memorizing the digits of pi, and also refreshments that were all
CIRCULAR. Students brought in doughnuts, melon balls, cookies, homemade
tostados, and even a 6-tier cake. All food was measured, and pi was used
to find the circumference and area of all snacks before indulging in the
sweets. It was a great day of learning and fun!
