UPDATES

Fri. 1/18/08 6:45 am Arrived safely at 6:45 am. Had a hot breakfast at Magills and are traveling into the city to start the White House tours. I 95 is clear and Washington D.C. received a light dusting of snow last night which is making for good pictures.
  2:40 pm Students just finished touring the Capitol Building. The weather has warmed up and very little snow is left. They are headed to the National Archives Building.
  3:20 pm I have just spoken with Mr. Hodges and SRO Taylor.  Students are inside the National Archives now, viewing some of our nation's most important documents, including the Declaration of Independence.  Then they will be headed for the Library of Congress.  - Mrs. Brown
  5:15 pm I have just spoken with SRO Taylor.  Buses are en route to the hotel for supper.   After the meal, students will travel to the Kennedy Center to watch a performance of "Sheer Madness."  - Mrs. Brown
