A 1987 graduate of Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, I received my undergraduate degree in Business Education. Prior to graduation, I completed my student teaching, at the Rock Hill Career Development Center under the supervision of Mrs. Linda Dye. Upon graduation from college, I taught Business Education courses for two years in Cherokee County (South Carolina) schools at Cherokee Technology Center in Gaffney. While there, I taught Accounting I, Accounting II, Introduction to Computers and BASIC programming. My Woodruff High School teaching career began 16 years ago. During this time, I have taught Office Procedures, Business English, Typing/Keyboarding, Introduction to Computers, Accounting I, and currently Integrated Business Applications. I received my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina in 1994. Faculty responsibilities include: adviser of the Future Business Leaders of America Club, Miss Woodruff High Committee, American Education Week Committee, and Homecoming and Prom Assistant/Adviser.
