I teach Chorus and
Girls' Ensemble at WHS and 6th, 7th and 8th grade Chorus at WMS. My father was in the United States Air Force and we moved
frequently throughout my school years.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from The Ohio State University
and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Guidance from Clemson University.
I
am married to Bobby Blanton, a Furman Graduate, who has degrees in Piano
and Accounting. We have 2
sons, Christopher and Jonathan.
We also have a Golden Retriever named Molly.
We
attend the First Baptist Church in Woodruff, where Bobby is the
part-time Minister of Music.
