The team's regular workout usually consists of:

Mile Repeats

The team runs 5 laps around the football field (this is equal to one mile).  We do about 3 repetitions.

Speed work

Speed work days usually consist of 10 repetitions or more of: 110-yard sprints and hills.

LSD

LSD stands for "long-slow-distance."  On these days, we have a choice of either running around town or on the course.  LSD days are a favorite among most.

Stride-outs

A stride out is when you run around the football field.  You walk, start to jog, sprint, then slow down; repeat.  We do between 5 and 10.  The purpose of a stride-out is to stretch out your legs and open up your "stride," so you do not become tight.
