WHS Mission
Statement & Beliefs

Message from the Principal:

Dear Woodruff High Website Visitors:

On behalf of the students and staff of Woodruff High School, I would like to welcome you to our website.  Our website is a work-in-progress, and we are delighted that you are utilizing this resource to learn about WHS.  We appreciate your interest in our students and in all the programs at WHS.

Each school year we face many challenges.  We are confident that with the commitment of our students, staff, and community, we can confront these challenges together.  Providing a quality instructional program and abundant co-curricular opportunities fulfills our mission of preparing students to become confident, competent, respectful and responsible individuals.

We have begun the school year with many new faces from both students and staff.  Our goal is to build upon the tradition of the past in providing an environment that enables all children to learn.  We pride ourselves on good communication, hard work, student involvement and sound discipline.  Our expectations are high, but we believe that students rise to the level of expectation.

Throughout this website, you will gain some insight into the multitude of programs available at WHS.  We attempt to provide an updated calendar and links to each teacher’s email.  Please utilize these resources in communicating with us and learning more about Woodruff High School.

We hope that your visit to this website provides you with needed information.  Please understand that the development of this site is ongoing.  We solicit your suggestions.   Thank you again for your interest in Woodruff High School.

Sincerely yours,

Karen E. Neal
