Testing Procedures
1.
All algebraic work must be shown for credit. I am more interested in the process than the product.
2.
Following directions is a necessary life skill. I expect students to follow procedures that are given. This is to include that a pencil is used on all tests.
3.
Responsibility and accountability are also important skills. Students should be prepared for a test on the date it is given. I do not give any "retest". Of course, a student will continue to work on skills not yet mastered.
4.
Students need to learn to use their time wisely when testing. Students will not be allowed to come back to finish a test and incomplete problems will be marked wrong. Once a student sees test items, they are no longer valid.
5.
If a student misses one day before a scheduled test, the student will be expected to take the test with the other students.
6.
If a student misses a test or is absent several days prior to a test, the student may make-up the test. It is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements to make up a test and this should be done within five schools days after the student returns to school.
