I graduated from Winthrop University in 1979 with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
I returned to
After twenty-seven years, I still have the excitement
of teaching students new concepts and trying to improve their mathematics
skills from previous learning. Some
people wonder most of their lives what their occupation should be. I have been blessed to know that I am in a
career that was meant for me. I have a heart for teaching and a love for my
students. As I greet my students with a
smile, I try to treat them with respect, compassion, and display a positive
attitude. I am truly enjoying my time at
Woodruff. The students, faculty,
administration, and support staff are a joy to work with. I sincerely believe that at this point in my
life I am were I should be, doing what I am meant to do.
