I graduated from Winthrop University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.  I returned to Winthrop and completed my MAT in Mathematics in December of 1983. I married my high school sweetheart, Randy Crocker and we celebrated our twenty-seventh wedding anniverary in March of 2007. Our daughter, Jennifer graduated in May of 2005 from Coker College.  She is married and lives in Columbia.  Our son, Joshua, is a junior at Anderson University majoring in Christian Ministry with a minor in music.  I have been teaching for over 27years now, twenty-three of which were at Union High School. I am an active member of Philippi Baptist Church in Union where I reside.  I enjoy playing tennis, walking, listening to contempary Christian music, and spending time with family.

After twenty-seven years, I still have the excitement of teaching students new concepts and trying to improve their mathematics skills from previous learning.  Some people wonder most of their lives what their occupation should be.  I have been blessed to know that I am in a career that was meant for me. I have a heart for teaching and a love for my students.  As I greet my students with a smile, I try to treat them with respect, compassion, and display a positive attitude.  I am truly enjoying my time at Woodruff.  The students, faculty, administration, and support staff are a joy to work with.  I sincerely believe that at this point in my life I am were I should be, doing what I am meant to do.
