Welcome to Language Arts Enrichment! As you know, another exciting year has begun at Woodruff High School. Your sophomore faces many academic challenges ahead, but none more important than the HSAP Exam (Pact) that will be administered in the Spring 2004.
The Language Arts Enrichment program provides a balanced language arts curriculum incorporating the processes or reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The focus is on both literary and content material designed to prepare students for the reading and writing portion of the HSAP Exam. In addition, students will improve their writing skills through journal prompts, formal and informal essays, research papers, and some creative writing.
The following class policies and procedures will help in making this school year a great success.

If discipline problems occur I will follow the procedures outlined in the student handbook.
