Congratulations to the Woodruff High School Cadets! They placed in the top 6 finalists at Upper state at BSHS, and qualified to move on to the State Championship on Saturday, October 27 at Batesburg-Leesville High School. The top six upper state bands and the top 6 lower state bands will begin the competition again for recognition of placement among South Carolina's best 12 bands! This is a tremendous honor for our Cadets to be going to State again under the direction of Mr. Wash, Mr. Carroll, Mrs. Casey, David Richards, and Stormy Owings. The students did an exceptional job performing on Saturday, and represented Woodruff High School very well, not only in their performance, but also with wonderful behavior. The WHS band is working extremely hard this season, so be sure to show your Wolverine spirit and pride as they travel to Batesburg-Leesville on Saturday.
